The Parish Giving Scheme (PGS) is a direct-debit system which provide a professionals effective donation management system to support parishes fund their mission and ministry. It reduces the burden of work on parish volunteers and provides a professional service to our donors. It enables:
- The donor to sign up to inflationary giving, overcoming the static nature of cash and standing order gifts.
- The parish to improve cash-flow by receiving the gift by the tenth of the month. The Gift AId will be sent separately once PGS has received it from HMRC.
It does all this at a lower cost than envelope schemes.

ENVELOPES
We can supply you with a box of 52 envelopes, to which you can add your weekly offering. The filled envelope can then be dropped into the offertory box each week. Speak to one of the Church Wardens if you would like to give in this way.
THE PLATE ON SUNDAY
If you are unable to commit to a regular amount you can give by cash or each week, putting it in the offering box.
Cheques should be made payable to “Christ Church PCC”.
AN ANNUAL GIFT
If you find it easier to make an annual gift or you wish to make a one off gift in addition to your regular giving, this can be done by simply writing a cheque. If you do pay tax ask us about Gift Aid.
A LEGACY
A gift from your estate can be included in your will. This is one way some people like to make a gift for the future.
